When I saw them I fell in love with them and knew I had to put them on the site as everyone i've shown them too has been amazed by them too!
This gorgeous necklace features a large glass ball pendant with a watch movement trapped inside, you simply wind up the movement using the cog on the top (this must be wound clockwise, gently, until you feel it stop) It will then run for a full 24 hours and keep time beautifully. You can set the time by pulling the winding cog upwards like you would on a standard watch.
I've always been fascinated by clock work items, cogs and mechanical bits and bobs. Maybe this is because I grew up in a house full of clocks as my Dad is an antique clock restorer, at any one time there was always at least fifty clocks in the house!
If you turn the watch around you can see all the cogs running in the back of the movement so you can wear the pendant facing either way, its so fascinating! The pendant itself measures approximately 4cm in diameter and sits in a bronze toned pivot mount and comes on a 90cm long gold toned chain that fastened with a toggle clasp.
